Privacy Statement

Last updated — August 2026
Your privacy matters to us. In this statement you can read which personal data 1AITE B.V. processes via this website, for what purpose, on what basis and how long we retain it — and what rights you have. 1AITE supplies exclusively to business clients and does not target consumers.

1. Who is responsible?

1AITE B.V. (hereinafter: 1AITE), with offices at Rabroekenweg 49, 7942 LC Meppel, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 97975397, VAT identification number NL868309874B01, is the controller for the processing operations described in this statement.

This statement concerns the personal data we process via this website. Do you have questions about privacy or would you like to submit a request regarding your data? Email us at info@1aite.nl.

2. The contact form

When you complete the contact form, we process the data you provide yourself — your name, telephone number, email address, company name, your message and the chosen area of interest — together with your language preference. To counter misuse and spam, we also technically record your IP address and browser data (user-agent).

We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quotation or agreement. The submission is additionally sent to us by email.

Basis: the performance or preparation of an agreement at your request, and our legitimate interest in being able to handle enquiries and prevent misuse.

3. Website statistics — cookieless

We measure the use of our website in a privacy-friendly, cookieless way. We never store your raw IP address: visitors are counted via a daily-changing, encrypted (hashed) code that cannot be traced back to you.

In doing so we record only which page was requested, the language, the source (referrer) and the device type. No cookies are placed, there is no cross-site tracking and no profiling takes place. Ratings (likes) on blog articles work in the same pseudonymous way, solely to prevent duplicate votes.

Basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our website.

4. Cookies

Our website places only strictly necessary, functional cookies that are required for the site to work securely: a session cookie and a security cookie (to protect against CSRF when submitting forms).

Under the law, no consent is required for these functional cookies. We place no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies, and therefore we also display no cookie banner.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

Our website loads fonts (Google Fonts) and, on the contact page, a map (Google Maps) from Google. In doing so, your IP address is technically passed on to Google in order to display those components. For the rest, we process your data on our own server environment within the EU and engage processors only insofar as this is necessary for the purposes mentioned above.

6. How long we retain data

Contact form submissions stored on this website are retained for a maximum of 30 days; after that they are automatically deleted. Ongoing correspondence may be kept longer in our email or records where this is necessary for the contact or on account of a legal obligation.

Technical server log files are retained only briefly for security and troubleshooting. Aggregated statistics that cannot be traced back to individuals may be kept longer.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Traffic with our website runs exclusively encrypted (HTTPS/HSTS), we apply a strict content security policy (Content-Security-Policy) and in our statistics we never store raw IP addresses.

8. Transfer outside the EEA

In principle we process your data within the European Economic Area. Insofar as data is processed outside the EEA via the aforementioned Google components, this takes place under the applicable safeguards of the provider concerned.

9. No automated decision-making

We do not take decisions with legal effects for you based solely on automated processing, and we do not apply profiling.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability of your data, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Insofar as a processing operation is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

You can submit a request via info@1aite.nl. We respond as quickly as possible and no later than within the statutory period. If you believe that we are not handling your data with due care, you can lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch data protection authority, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or your national supervisory authority.

11. Changes

We may amend this privacy statement from time to time. You will always find the most current version on this page.
